Kamezí is more than a collection of villas by the ocean.

It is an aesthetic interpretation of Lanzarote’s volcanic landscape.

We believe in beauty as a form of balance.

For us, art is not simply added to a space. It is part of the way we understand architecture, landscape and the Kamezí experience.

Here, art is not an isolated gesture.

Sculptures in
dialogue

Throughout the gardens and along the pathways, contemporary sculptures emerge naturally from their surroundings.

Organic volumes, materials and forms inspired by the island reinforce the identity of the place.

Material and craftsmanship

Art can also be found in the interiors of each villa. Furniture, handcrafted pieces and bespoke elements carry Kamezí’s identity through to the smallest details.

Materials, textures and forms come together with the architecture in a celebration of design, craftsmanship and individuality.

Our own workshop

Kamezí has its own workshop, where every piece begins. The workshop is led by sculptor Jesús Lizaso.

This creative space gives shape to the works found throughout Kamezí: sculptures, artistic interventions, artistic elements, furniture, architectural pieces and countless details specifically conceived to coexist with the architecture and landscape, reinforcing an identity in which art and place are inseparable.

Jesús Lizaso

The Artist. A Basque sculptor with an established national and international career. His work is characterised by a dialogue between material, volume and emotion, with pieces that explore the expressive power of steel, bronze, wood and stone.

Influenced by the tradition of contemporary Basque sculpture, Lizaso has developed his own distinctive language, in which form emerges from a balance between intuition, craftsmanship and a sense of place.

He has been developing his artistic practice in Lanzarote for years and maintains a close connection with the island.

At Kamezí, his vision finds a natural space in which to unfold.: architecture, lava, light and the ocean become an essential part of his work.
